What happened to the old Divus Design Website?
As our business has grown, so too has our experience, and with this has come several new services previously not advertised.
We also took the obligation in linking to other graphic design and web development industry sites and relevant information as well as affiliating ourselves with other organisations of whom we are in conjunction with.
Our portfolio has also changed and expanded which we would like to show to our future clients and offer our previous and present clients a look at what we have been doing.
Essentially our previous web site was too small... we just grow out of it.
What's with the new look?
We constantly tell our clients how important it is offer a website which people not only want to use, but are also able to use.
This is why we have gone with the corporate and ordered look that you see here. There's no point in having a website that people have to study site-maps and navigational facilities to learn how to use.
The creativity may not be so much in the overall look of the website. But it is the creative resources and portfolio work displayed throughout the site which shows clients our skills and creative ability.
After all, this is a website for a business. This is not a creative & interactive piece of multimedia. Our site was made with our clients in mind, not our competitors.
What's new with this website?
It's the little things that we've improved on with this major website reconstruction that makes a world of difference.
We added many new links, pages, facilities and relevant information to do with our partners, services, passions and products.
The new site is getting great feedback, excellent search engine results and we're able to offer our clients with more than just a brochure site.
It's a creative hub for our clients and other world wide web surfers with an interest in art & design. Also serving us with an artistic place to let out some our excess creativity.
During this business expansion and new website development we looked to other ways we could use our design talents.
T-shirts and other clothing featuring our trade marked brand names and great designs were a great idea to get our designs out there.
We're also offering as an extra service commissioned photography and even vector portraits. Other additions to our site include related design articles, quotes & creative written entries, jokes, pictures, and games.
This offers our visitors with a complete website surfing experience.
What else did we improve on?
In designing our new site we focused predominantly on usability and search engine optimisation, rather than just making a pretty looking website. We're practising what we preach, and it's working well.
